AP is for “annoying preparation”

May 14th, 2008

I’m currently studying for my AP World History exam. That’s going to be fun (not).

Yesterday, I took my AP Chem exam, and I think I did pretty well. They changed up the open-ended portion, and that might hurt, but I think it’ll hurt everyone evenly, and the grading scale is curved, so it’s all good.

My AP Chemistry test is tomorrow at 7:30. Isn’t that the most ridiculous time to have a test?

Looks like I’ll have to be getting used to it though…

One down, two to go

May 6th, 2008

I finished the AP Statistics exam about half an hour ago. It wasn’t too bad; I think I got a 4 or a 5.

The part I liked the least was the insane amount of bubbles I had to fill in even before the test started. Good thing about 75% of that is stuff I don’t have to fill out for each test this year…

Math is my strongest subject, however, so no clue how well I’m going to do on the AP Chemistry and World History exams. Let’s hope for the best.

Brace for impact

May 5th, 2008

Tomorrow I’ve got my first Advanced Placement test… Statistics. Going to be studying like hell tonight, and also preparing for two other AP tests, Chemistry and World History. I’m pretty sure I don’t know anything about World History…

I’m welcoming myself to “AP Hell.” Most All other sophomores I know are just taking the World History exam — I don’t think anyone else is taking more than one.
