Huge interface rework. A lot nicer looking. Go test it—F11 and F12 are in Bodhi.

Ah, the beauty of free software… r199 of gwibber has been pushed to stable in Fedora 9 and 10 thanks to the willingness of a few users to test the build, and the cooperation of upstream to fix a few bugs as soon as possible. :)
(For rawhide users, a pywebkitgtk bug is causing some issues in viewing updates. It’s a known bug to upstream.)

Revision 196 of gwibber, fresh from the bazaar tree, will soon be available in updates-testing for F9 and F10 users after the next push. For the impatient, the builds (F9, F10) are available.
Please place your comments on the appropriate Bodhi pages (F9, F10) so that these get pushed to stable! Remember to be logged in so that your karma counts.

School is taking over my life, again. There’s one catch though — I’m actually enjoying this year. (whoa!)
My English teacher doesn’t suck. In fact, she’s one of the best teachers I’ve ever had, and it’s her first year of teaching.
So, with the increase of schooliness, a decrease in Fedoraness obviously goes down. Here’s my current list of works-in-progress, and if anyone wants to grab one of these and help me out immensely, that would be awesome.
{{needs love}} on ‘em, and they go in Category:Pages that need love. What I really need is a lot of someones to take a page in, give it some love and whatever it needs to succeed, and remove the {{needs love}} tag.Send me patches, I’ll give ya push access if I like ‘em. Remember that fuse-mediawiki is the potential future of bots for the Fedora Project wiki, and will also allow people to escape the <textarea>, so it’s a good thing for Fedora and the entire MediaWiki community.
So, if you feel like giving a little bit more to the Fedora community, this is a great way to do it — by helping a high school student feel more secure because things are taken care of. Let me know if you’re interested in any of these.

I’m still immensely tired, and recently I’ve been watching the Democratic National Convention, although it’s not really interesting me that much since they’re all still saying the same thing they’ve said for the past two weeks.

(I feel like I’ve been spamming the Planet lately. Oh well.)
OK, some things might not work, but patches are most certainly welcome for me and the developer :)
Packages will hit yum repos soon, but for the impatient, here are the Koji tasks: F-8, F-9, devel
Edit: This is the first release I’ve ever put under “testing” in bodhi. Please test and give karma.

I’ve packaged Gwibber for Fedora, and it’s up for review.
Gwibber is a microblogging client for identi.ca, Twitter, and the like.
Somebody needs to go review it and make sure that I got all the Requires: correct.
